Paying for Medical Care
As estimate of the charges will be given to you for approval if your pet is admitted for hospitalization. We make every effort to charge fair and reasonable fees.
Treatment of your animal is determined by your decisions, with consideration of your own financial resources. We encourage you to discuss payment methods and fees before services are performed. Please also feel free to ask your veterinarian about charges each time you call for a progress report so that you can make responsible decisions about continued veterinary care.

Payment
At American Animal Hospital, we are proud to deliver the finest and most comprehensive veterinary care possible. In order to keep costs as reasonable as possible, we require payment in full when your pet is dropped off. You will find that our fees are very affordable and most of our patients can afford most things we offer.
Because we know our clients have a variety of needs and special circumstances, we offer a number of ways to pay for your pet’s veterinary needs. We gladly accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Cashier’s or traveler’s checks, ATM/Debit Card, and Care Credit. To keep operational costs low, we do not accept checks and we don’t do billing. Pet Insurance
We accept all major forms of pet insurance. We recommend the VPI Pet Insurance in particular. American Animal Hospital also offers prepackaged plans to meet your pet care needs. These plans are not insurance and cover procedures that your pet needs at savings to you.
